A small local crew doing roof and exterior the way it should be done.
Coastline Restoration has worked the Gold Coast to Byron Bay coast since 2010. We clean, restore and wash roofs and exteriors, and we tell you straight whether you need a clean, a repair pathway, or both.
Most operators try to solve every exterior with high pressure. That works on a concrete driveway and almost nothing else. Render gets chipped. Render mould only gets the top stripped off and the roots regrow inside a season. Colorbond chalks. Painted timber bargeboards split. The dark stripes a pressure-only roof clean leaves behind come back within a wet season, so the homeowner pays twice.
Coastline Restoration started in 2010 because that pattern got tiring to watch. The fix is not a secret: a roof-safe biocide that breaks the growth at the root, the right detergent and the right nozzle for each surface, and a written plan before anyone reaches for a wand. We are a small crew on purpose, so the people who quote your job are the people who do it.
We pick the pressure for the surface, not the other way around.
We cover roof cleaning and restoration, house washing and exterior painting, gutter cleaning and gutter guard, driveway cleaning and resealing, and the grounds work that goes with them, mowing, garden care, pruning and rubbish removal, across Gold Coast to Byron Bay, with no travel surcharge within 30km of Tweed Heads.
Three things we will not compromise on.
The itemised page vs the text-message price.
The right pressure for the surface
Soft-wash where it belongs, the right nozzle on hard surfaces. We pick the method for the surface, not blast everything and hope.
A written plan, every job
A walk-around or your photos, then a real number in writing with the scope named and the realistic life span spelled out. No from $ guesses.
Honest about what we will not do
We refer out high-rise rope-access work and protected-tree removal, and we name the licence that applies by state rather than claim a blanket fully licensed.
Tidy, and gentle on the surrounds
Plants protected, tank-water first-flush diverted, wash water contained rather than hosed to the creek. We leave the place better than we found it.
Who we are, and are not, the right crew for.
We are a ladder-and-roof crew, set up for residential and smaller strata, not high-rise.
If you want a homeowner-scale roof, exterior or grounds job done properly, with a written plan and honest advice on whether you even need it, we are the right crew. We do common-property work for smaller strata schemes too. Large multi-storey apartment blocks want a rope-access or scaffold specialist, and protected-tree removal wants an arborist, so we refer those out rather than take a job we are not set up for.

On a live build these are the real, verifiable credentials of the business.
A small crew, not a call centre.
The lead hand
Owner and quoting hand
Runs every quote and is on most jobs. Came up doing roof and exterior work along this coast and got tired of watching pressure-only cleans bring the mould stripes back within a season. Started the crew to do it the way it should be done: the right pressure for the surface, a written plan, and the realistic life span named upfront.
“We pick the pressure for the surface, not the other way around.”
The crew
Roof and exterior hands
A small, local crew of experienced roof and exterior hands, Work Safe at Heights ticketed, who treat your place the way they would treat their own. The same faces on the job, not a revolving door.
What happens from first call to walk-through.
Tell us about the job
Call, or send a few photos through the form. Enough for us to see the surface, the condition and the access.
Walk-around or a photo quote
For most jobs a walk-around or your photos is enough. We diagnose whether you need a clean, a repair pathway, or both, before we quote.
A written plan and price
A real number on a written quote with the scope named, the realistic life span, and any open items flagged. No from $ guesses.
The job, done to the surface
We turn up when we say, pick the method for each surface, contain the run-off, and leave the place tidy.
The walk-through
We walk you over the finished work, hand over any photos, and tell you the maintenance cycle that keeps the result there.
Read before you get quotes
Talk to the crew that quotes the job and does the job.
Tell us what you need. We’ll book a walkthrough and send a quote with the work itemised, not just a number.
